It's that time of year again!

Oh, it's got me down with the sickness! Its that time of year again where I get sick! It always happens near my birthday. I don't know why I am surprised.

The reason I bring this up is because I have been watching clips of Congress chastising the big medical insurance companies. You see, I don't have insurance and have never been able to afford insurance on my own. I am thankful that I have a new job this year that will provide me insurance.

I recently went to the Health Insurance Marketplace and looked up cheap insurance plans for my area, and I was shocked at how expensive the cheapest plans were. The cheapest one I found was by UHC HMO plan and was $475 premium, $8000 deductible, 20% coinsurance, $50 PCP copay, $150 specialist copay, and $500 ER copay. Where are the savings?

How much are you spending on health insurance? Do you feel ripped off? DO you go to the doctor when you're sick or do you wait as long as possible because you know it's too expensive to go to the doctor?
